Cancellation Policy

  • A 60% deposit is required to secure a booking;
  • The balance of the booking to be paid 7 days prior to arrival;
  • A minimum charge of 10% is applicable to all refunds;
  • If a booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival, 10% of full invoice will be charged;
  • If cancelled 21 – 29 days before arrival, 25% of invoice will be charged;
  • If cancelled 14 – 20 days before arrival, 50% of invoice will be charged;
  • If cancelled 7 – 13 days before arrival, 75% of invoice will be charged;
  • If cancelled less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the total amount of the invoice is payable;
  • No refunds are given for seasons / holiday bookings & Knysna Festivals.

Peak Season / Holidays are as follows:

-          20 September – 1 October 2013;

-          15 December 2013 – 10 January 2014;

-          20 March – 9 April 2014;

-          26 April – 1 May 2014;

-          21 June – 15 July 2014;

-          20 September – 1 October 2014;

-          15 December 2014 – 10 January 2015;

  • Check-in from 14h00 – 20h00;
  • After-hours arrivals must be pre-arranged;
  • Check-out at 11h00;
  • Breakfast is optional from 07h30 – 10h00 and must be arranged on arrival;
  • Portrage is charged R 15 per person per day and must be arranged beforehand.
